Let's say for the sake of a joke that the car I ordered was damaged during the drive to the holding yard. And ford is not saying a word to anyone about it. Now that same car is delivered to the dealer. That's bs. Because for one that's just sneaky and dishonest. I'm talking repairs such as paint or sheet metal. 2nd it's not like another one can be picked off the dealers lot. So either way it's a loss to the customer.

Exactly and also your car was either damaged or it wasn't, it can't be in between. And to think they expect you to pay full cost for a car that already sustained damage, that's not a new car in my book.

Well Frank, you are way off on your assumptions. The only way you will get a GT350 for 48k is if it fell off the truck. The GT350 is a version of the S550, it didn't cost for anything more than the drivetrain to change the platform. As stated, it's made on the same assembly line as a Fusion with no special assembly. Also you are paying over 62k for the GT350R, which is more than the RCF.
I doubt that there are many here discussing a GT350 with literally world class statistics that are interested in a Lexus RCF. I've never liked Lexus personally but then I don't like Toyotas either and they are essentially one in the same.

In 2005 when the new mustangs were being delayed due to the suplier of the My Color parts having issues I was discounted $1000 for every week it was delayed. I bought the car through Military Auto Source, so I was waiting in Iraq an it wasn't a big deal that the car wasn't delivered on time. It still got to the dealer a couple weeks before i did.

If you followed the thread, one person compared his experience of his Mustang with his experience of his Lexus. From that point it moved to build quality and customer satisfaction. There were no arguments. Just because something doesn't interest you, doesn't mean it shouldn't be discussed. If you don't like the discussion, look into a different thread.

I am enjoying the discussion. It would appear that it is you who is experiencing distress here. Your assumption that a Lexus vehicle is superior to a Ford vehicle is erroneous at best sir.

If I remember correctly from years back I read about how there can be $3-5k worth of damage to the car without the manufacturer or dealership having to notify you of it.

No distress here, I have both. And since I do own both, I know from experience which is superior. I love my GT, but don't expect it to be equivalent to my Lexus.

But the problem is they cannot tell him if the car was actually damaged. Wouldn't that make you feel uneasy when the car is delivered?

Well I'm not accepting anything new with damage. Would you by a broken TV if it didn't work for the cost of a new undamaged one? I'm not paying $66000 on a new car that may have been damaged already.

Don't think that you are in some exclusive position here Dude. I have also had both. Had more than one Lexus. The first was mediocre at best with some very obvious issues and design flaws, the second was an absolute disaster. I'll take a Ford any day of the week and will never, ever own Lexus again.

I know emotions are high, but you guys are confusing that I am agreeing with the information I am providing. I wouldn't accept the car either if I knew. They do have the power to hide it from anyone though
