^This. It's an excellent gauge on what potential buyers should try to negotiate for price.Ok....going to add my 2 cents to the discussion of..."what did you pay?" In regards to these cars I think its good to know what others paid so you can get an idea of that the market is for them so you can be an informed buyer. I certainly don't mind sharing any of this information with anyone and don't mind people asking me about it. I paid $65K for a track pack in Jan of 2016 and I found a friend of mine one for $63k about 4 months or so later on. Now I have heard of people paying sticker for them but I looked all over and just couldn't find that deal. I'm not up to date on it now as I have no need, other than curiosity, to stay current on it. Just my opinion.
Congrats! Very nice score!Well I have to tell you that this all has fallen into place so easy. We had a rainy day a few weeks ago so we went out just to look at colors on Mustangs. Thinking of the possibility of an 18'. Dealer said that they already had someone in line for their R allocation BUT said that they had very good relations up the chain & their sales for Raptors & 350's were good & this would help asking for another.
Along came the announcement of the 500 R's(which I want to thank the poster here on this site for) dropped the dealer the new info that they were unaware of & had a call Saturday morning that they had an R lined up.
Our first choice of color is ruby & we are looking at all colors again this evening. Have to say that everything the dealer mentioned has come to fruition. Yes it is @MSRP.

Sounds almost exactly like my scenario. What state is your dealer in, Indiana?Well I have to tell you that this all has fallen into place so easy.
