When my Grabber Blue GT arrives, I'm looking at getting it detailed and then having stripes added and the wing mirrors wrapped.

Does anyone know the details of the stripes that the GT350 come with e.g. width of the stripes, width of the pin stripe and distance between the stripes please?

What I'm looking at are these

As I'm not in the US, I didn't want to go with pre-made stripes that a few US companies do as any issues with the installation, my installer would be stuck.

The pin stripe is touching the main color. Get a confirmation on the width but I recall the width of both together were 8" when I measured on a GT350 in a showroom. But that was in January of 2016 so my memory might not be 100%

Thank you. I've found plans for the stripes on the original gt350 from the 60s but nothing for the new one. The original stripes being between 9.5 and 10.5" with 2" gap.

I didn't measure the distance between the sides. The 8" was for the main stripe and adjoining pin strip for one side. I'm not even sure if those are separate pieces or if Ford had the stripes made with the pinstripe on the same piece to make installation easier.

Personally, I would prefer stripes that were wider than on the new GT350s.

All you need to do is contact Big Worm Graphics http://www.bigwormgraphix.com/. They can set you up with the current GT350 style stripes in several different colors. Here is my vert I went with the wider stripes.

Just measured the stripes on a GT350 myself recently. Each stripe is 7" wide. each pinstripe is 1/4" wide. The gap between the two are 1.25"

Waiting on my Grabber Blue GT as well and am thinking of stripes after replacing the bonnet with the US spec one. You're thinking of the white? I'm stuck trying to decide between white or black.

I can't find it now but I'm sure I've read somewhere that the stock GT350 stripes have a taper to them. I'm sure I saved the info at home so I'll try and remember to look for it.

Yeah, my car is the white platinum and I'm going to add the blue stripes. Have never seen stripes on a white platinum...only the oxford white. Hopefully, it'll look just as good. I have vinyl guy who's going to custom cut the stripes for me.

On lighter color paint schemes you may want to consider going a little wider on the pinstripes, depending on the combination. I went with 3/8" pinstripes to make it stand out a little more.

OK, so the info I noted down is:

Yes they are GT350R Stripes.
7.5 inch at top
7.5 inch on bonnet near windshield but tapers down to 7 inch at the nose.
7 inch at front bumper.
Same specs at the back starts 7.5 and then tapers to 7 inch at rear bumper to match the front.
Apparently they create an illusion of being too wide at front and narrow at the back if you run flat 7.5 inch.

From this post:
http://www.mustang6g.com/forums/sho...t=Apparently+create+illusion+wide#post1551239

No idea how correct it is compared to OEM GT350 stripes or how much difference the taper really makes to appearance.

I've been thinking about stripes on my grabber blue GT. Mine has the black accent package. I really don't want white or black stripes. I think grey or silver would look good. Anyone have any pics of that particular color combo?

Stripes are always great on Mustangs, but there are plenty of styles that don't directly copy the current Shelby stripes

Yeah Big Worm Works... Pretty easy to install... These are the "narrow" stripes. Same color pinstripe in 1/4" from the main stripe. GT350 style different color pinstripe goes next to the wide stripe no space.

Are the GT350 factory pinstripes on the same substrate as the adjoining wide stripe? I'm guessing not. And for aftermarket stripes with pinstripes, are the pinstripes positively located the desired distance from the main stripe with a removable overlay? I'm guess, yes on that or most DIY jobs would look like crap with the gap to the pin stripe changing.

I remember when i was on another site and added the GT500 TrackPack stripes to my 2013 GHG GT I was mocked because they were too skinny and looked odd. I loved them though!!!
