Any news on the GT350R steering wheels as yet?

Would you guys say the alcantara is Charcoal(Grey) or Black? The z28 clearly has charcoal and most sports cars have charcoal, but some of the pics make the alcantara fabric look black although i've seen a couple pictures where you can clearly see that it is grey

It's very much black.

Scale of one to baby's bottom, how soft are we talking? I already bought it, but it won't ship until January. Also, how is the notch at the top? I like to rest my wrist at the 12 o' clock on long trips, so I don't want it to bother me. Although, for how good this thing looks, I'd be willing to accept getting poison ivy rash every time I touch it.

Quite soft. Like a puppy. The band at top is tactile of course, but it's far from bothersome.
