Use a hairdryer and carefully heat up the adhesive and slowly pry them off.

I tried man but it doesnt budge. It didnt even move a tiny bit. The only thing that is happening is that the whole assembly is becoming loose.

What do I do? Am I f#*#$?

I would have to see it but would you be able to get some fish line in between the piece you put the 3m on ? And use the fish line as a saw ?

I'm gonna say you need to heat it more. The tape will come loose with heat. In fact, a heat gun would probably be better, but you'd just have to be careful.

Other than heat and fish line there's nothing else honestly. But I took out some of the toughest adhesive with heat. Have someone hold the heat gun real close while you pry. Heat it till the while thing gets super hot. Just be careful not to melt the plastic on the wheel.

Your only other option is take it to the dealer and have them install the steering.

Just picked up a GT350 wheel yesterday from a local seller.

Going to install it next week, but have only seen online instruction videos for the manual transmission cars.

Has anyone done a video showing switching over the paddle shifters?

I've read about it, but would certainly like to actually watch someone do it, and pick up any hints or tips.

:)

Not that I have seen any videos that show that, but I did it myself and it is one of the easiest parts. Just one screw holding it once you have all the other parts taken off. Just take your time, took me about 2 hours from start to finish.

Wanna know what the kicker is?

You can order the wheel itself for $179 ish and the bezel kit right from ford for $40 ish for total of $220 ish compared to the $380-$410 the Ford Racing kit is selling for.........
Where can I order this for $179 ish? I will place my order immediately.
All I see is the Levittown $199 plus ship and 60-90 day wait.

Has anyone changed the color of the sight marker? If so, what did you use?
I'd like to know this also, didn't see any replies.
I was one of the early gt350 wheel orders. I should have been more patient and waited for the gt350r wheel.

Ford just increased the price again on the steering wheel.

Levittown offers a free shipping code to forum members. Works on most items. Send a PM to Benny at Levittown and he'll help you out.

Unfortunately GT350R wheel is no longer available at $199 through Ford dealerships. That was a pre-order pricing that has now finished this weekend.

If you make a quick order through Lethal Performance, you will be able to pay a little over $210 for one (using the forum discount code at checkout):

http://www.lethalperformance.com/ford-2015-2016-mustang-gt350r-steering-wheel.html

I'd be quick, because I bet they will put that price up soon to follow increased Ford pricing.

:)

Don't know about you but having installed mine recently, I'm quite happy with the plain marker.

I find the way the light comes off it compared to the alcantara means it stands out enough to be visible, but not so much that it would annoy my OCD as I think a completely different colour would. :headbonk:
