Is this really a defect? Was it always this way or did it develop over time? Right out of the box new, I think the alcantara material tends to be loose at the spoke edges. I believe the trim helps hold the alcantara in place.

Can't the issue just be resolved by lifting up the spoke trim, straightening out the alcantara material, and carefully reinstalling the trim? Granted, it would be a pain to try because you'd have to remove the airbag again, but it might save you the hassle of returning/exchanging the wheel and redoing the entire installation again.
I was thinking the same thing. Looks like just pop off the trim piece and pull the material tight again. Doesn't look like a true defect to return it over.

Remember the martial is loose (not attached) under the trim to keep it tight, the trim is holding it in place.

I checked my wheel that isn't installed yet and I can create the same wrinkle if I bunch the fabric up under the trim piece. Just remove enough to remove that bezel and it should be an easy fix.

What did you paint it with?
I used this paint from Angelus but you can use any color from that site:
http://angelusdirect.com/products/firered-paint

Mask off alcantara on wheel around the center strip
First clean leather surface very good with rubbing alcohol.
Apply the Leather Preparer and Deglazer: http://angelusdirect.com/collections/best-sellers/products/leather-preparer-and-deglazer
Apply 3 thin coats of the paint, followed by 2 thicker coats waiting like 10 mins between coats
Remove masking tape right after final coat is applied so it comes off cleaner
Apply one coat of satin finish: http://angelusdirect.com/products/satin-acrylic-finisher
Allow to dry 24 hours before using

I just paid $ 634.90 for 2 from Dusold Designs here on the Forum and got great communication and fast shipping.

Autonation White bear lake has it for $225 ($15 shipping). But I'm not positive it's the GT350 wheel or not.

KIT - STEERING WHEEL
Part Number: FR3Z-3600-AC $225.41

I tried to go through them, the problem was they could not tell me anything regarding availability and I got a straight answer from Dusold and they lived up to it. So tax and shipping it was $317 each as I ordered 2

Yeh that'a the problem. Cheapest doen't mean you'll see it anytime soon.

Lots or orders not filled still by many sources. You wanna wait 4 months and get it for $240 shipped or $270-280 from a bigger supplier (like Levittown) who are allotted more or first dibs and get it in 2 weeks.
