Bill in his video says 24mm, which is what used. Bought it for this occasion since the biggest I had prior to this was a 22.I was going to add the same note about using a trim removal tool on the bottom trim piece. Also, a 22 mm socket was too small for my steering wheel bolt. Maybe the splines on my 22 mm socket were too coarse. I had to use a 15/16" socket and a socket extender. Then, as another member suggested, I torqued the bolt to 35 ft lbs.
