DarkSubRosa did you keep the stock bezels or use the black chrome? It's hard to tell from your picture.

I used the stock bezels from my OE wheel. I didn't want to mix and match those pieces since everything else is the normal chrome and not the darker black chrome. There's no difference in the construction or fitment.

Looks good!

Love the wheel and shift knob combo!

I got the R wheel on the way, considering getting the shift knob as well. Where can you buy that shift knob from?

I got mine on ebay, you should be able to get it from levitown and likely your dealer too.

I paid $80 for it. It's not a direct screw on, you'll have to modify it

Forgive me if this has been posted before in this 90+ page thread, but does anyone have the torque specs for installation? I'm a bit of a "by the book" guy, so I'd prefer something official. Thanks in advance!

35 ft lbf + some blue loctite/ford thread lock for the center bolt and hand tight the self tapping screws. They don't have to be torqued hard as they will strip the steering wheel.

It is a pretty small OD bolt, the size of the head makes it decieving. Definately doesn't need to be that tight. Came off very easy with just a 1/2" ratchet.

Oh, and like so many on here, awesome wheel! Especially with the temps near freezing, it still feels warm to the touch. The factory wheel was like holding on to a block of ice.

92 pages, it's looking like this is the one Mod everyone agree's on lol

I have mine on the table at home waiting for my car to be built. Some times I just walk past and need to feel it, it's like pinching your girl on the butt as she walks by.

Anyone know the part number for the metal trim piece on the right side of the steering wheel? I must've accidentally nicked it in my haste to take those screws out. It's nothing big, but I know my OCD won't let it go...

The centering stripe on my wheel doesn't appear to be quite centered, but oh well... Hopefully it doesn't annoy me too much. I haven't gotten a chance to take the car out after installing the wheel, and I'm itching to see how it feels.

Just use the Levittown Ford Parts site. It's easy to locate.
