In this shot you could see the height diff between the yellow gt and gt350 front noses

The Shelby is way better looking than the Porsche, that's for sure.

Says the guy on a mustang forum. If I could only have one weekend car, I'd take the 911 every time. Having had serious seat time in many mustangs and owning 2 911s, I can say there is no comparison for me...

It looks like he was referring to solely the aesthetics of the cars mentioned; and I agree with him. If you haven't had any seat time in a new Mustang, though, I strongly urge you to; it's no comparison, really, to the previous generation cars. That said, I'm not foolish enough to think the experience will come close to matching what the much-more-expensive German sports car offers.

I believe you. I'm on this forum because I really like the new gt350...just sayin I wouldn't give up my turbo for it

Meh...my B302 is a much better DD than the '11 GT3 I had. The GT3 was just way too track focused for street duty. Hope the GT350 isn't so much as the GT3. Sure do miss it though:

Anyway, I think they are benchmarking it against that base 911(a popular thing to do). I'd bet you're going to need a gt3 or turbo to match that mustang on a track... With most gt3s selling around 170 and turbos near 200 now, it gives you a lot to consider for a track vehicle. I personally wouldn't track my 911s. They are well built and over engineered, but horribly expensive to repair when they do break or wear stuff out.

No back seats on gt3 either. I do think the new ford is going to be nearly as focused as your old 911 though. Hopefully the adjustable suspension will have a true "comfort" mode

I sure hope so. I just took a look of the pic folder of that car. She was a supermodel in every sense of the word.
