Does anyone know of anyone making, or going to make, the "GT 350" side stripes that run along the rocker panels as they had on the '65's and '66's?

I was thinking the same thing. The OTT stripes are a bit much for me but an understated side stripe could look great.

I used to have a '66 fastback upon which I had the stripes painted. It wasn't cheap, but it was TIGHT.

I'm thinking of a side stripe type adder to mimic the side panels on my 70 Mach 1, only the GT350 would be done in vinyl.

Any thoughts on how this would carry over? The lines of that area of the new Mustang seem to be perfect for that.

Just contacted Big Worm. If you're looking for the DIB colored stripes, they don't have that color. If you're looking for another color, give him a try. Seems that he would be able to replicate it quite well.

I have a vinyl graphics company next door to where I work, I am working through them. I will report the results when I have the information.

There are rumors that Ford is going to offer a Mach 1 soon. I wonder whether it will have a similar treatment?

So youre doubling up on side badges?
I haven't done anything yet (i don't have a build date yet), I'm just thinking about what i might do to make it my own when i get it. I like the look of the race cars but wouldn't want to go crazy with decals all over, the GT350 however does look cool to me down the side. We'll see

On that note, I wish the side badges werent installed using pin holes.

Agreed it would be cleaner without, but even on the race car the badge is there and its small enough that it doesn't look overkill.

Ford really made it difficult to go badgeless without filling in holes or replacing panels.
