An alternate look that I am planning to do (should I actually get one of these) is a thinner version of the stripes with no "GT350" on the rockers since the script is already on the fender.

The stripe width is similar to the original 1965/66 GT stripes. They are the same tri-style as the GT350 stripes but thinner.

That works!!! Great call.
With GT350 already on the fender it is simply too much to have the numbering on the rocker stripe also.

Yep.....you could be right!......just like the 2014 Boss 302 changed it's "accent" striping from the 2013, but still kept "accent" stripes. I find it interesting that the word Shelby isn't all over the GT350 like it was on the recent GT500's. In fact, a non-car enthusiast looking at one from the side would not even see the word Shelby. And even on the back, the wording is no where near as pronounced as it was on the GT500's. I wonder if they are slowly weaning themselves away from the word "Shelby" ?

The designers were trying to be less ornamental with this Mustang generation. That's why the side stripes were left off too.

Also, they were holding truer to the 1965 Gt350--which did not have Shelbys name on it.

Having seen the originals as a kid, I like the idea of the side stripes. I want my car to stand out a little...

I think I like this car without it.

One issue my graphics guy cautioned me about; if you put side graphics on the rocker panels it will make the car look like it sits higher off the ground. He's right, now that he's told me that all my Photoshop tests look different.
