GT350 Resonator/Straight pipe

A short question.
does anyone have any experience with the GT350 Straight pipe?
I want to take the resonator out, and no X pipe in there anymore.

Is there any sound files with Straight pipe? (no x pipe)

I can't help you with any sound files but I am curious as to why you would take out the X pipe :shrug:

because my exhaust is already cut after the x pipe.
and the effort would be so lower so

So no "H" section either? Just each bank being exhausted on it's own with no tie in to the other? If so, that is not the way to go.

In that Photo the pipes dont cross, however where the pipes appear to touch they are actually cconnected via weld in a "x". The X and H pipes equlize the pressures in the exhaust bank. You do not want to remove it, and its safe to say that almost all aftermarket exhaust systems will have some sort of an X or H.

Without a crossover I'm guessing it might sound like two 4 big bore bangers having an argument...?

And yes, no crossover is a bad choice. Scavanging is a good thing.
