Chuck,

Look up an application for the GT350, they do not have a kit for it, they will be happy to make a bracket. You would not likely maintain any of the kit as it relates to offsets for the rotor etc.
thanks for the input!

You mean I should contact Wilwood to make a bracket? That would save lots of money. As you mention, they dont list a kit for the 2018 GT350

Per dollar investment would be to stick with a Mag Ride spindle or the Mach 1 / 2024 knuckle which are both direct bolt on's and offer a much stiffer assembly plus better steering geometry. You have to decide if the weight savings is worth the added expense.

GT350 knuckle is about 10 pounds, Mag Ride prior to mid 2022 knuckle is about 13 pounds. A lot of money and hassle for 6 pounds. If you were still running the OEM front forward arms simply changing them to the aluminum version would give you the same weight savings, and actually further forward.

You’re right, Definitely much better per dollar. But Is the hub/bearing assembly different on the GT350? Would that be an upgrade preventing pad knock off?

Absolutely, the spindle mount is a flexible flyer, pretty sure Ford switched to a stiffer knuckle just so mag-ride would actually work properly. Pre-Mid 2022 Mag Ride knuckles share front bearings.

I’m curious to know the difference between the 21-22, wasn’t aware. Planning to get a set of two way coilovers for the 500, don’t think it would effect that if it’s just a material change.

The 500 has aluminum knuckles, different than the Mach 1.

I figured I'd follow up. thanks A LOT for the help.

Got some 2022 Mach1 Knuckles and they fit perfectly on my 2020 ecoboost. The SPL end fit perfect and so do the wilwood calipers. very happy, can't wait to feel the difference.

OK, so I got one side (part number from 2022 Mach 1 magnaride KR3Z-3K185-A) I am not able to get the other side. Do you know if I can get any year magnaride LIKE JR3Z-3K185-A (for example, there seems to be a few) ? The part number is different but who knows with Ford.

Basically my question is: Are all Magneride Spindles the same?

thanks again.

Yes, stick with one series, different geometry.

I wanted to clarify some things for those that want to upgrade their GT350's to 2020 GT350R's.
All the control arm ball joints are unique to the 2020 GT350R and GT500. Will they bolt together? Yes. The taper is slightly different so it is not recommended. I have included the part numbers below. I will warn you, Ford has become very proud of their parts of late. When we brought all these parts in a few years ago (cars were in production) the prices were not bad. If you can find them today you are lucky.

Motorcraft Number Ford Number
MCF 2553 KR3Z3079C Left Rear Mounted Arm $387.27
MCF 2554 KR3Z3078C Right Rear Mounted Arm $387.27
MCS 190165 KR3Z3079D Left Forward Mounted Arm $347.27
MCS 190166 KR3Z3078D Right Forward Mounted Arm $347.27
