Please guys I need help , I’ve purchased the front GT350R calipers and rotors and GT350 front knuckles , to install on my mustang gt 2018 , but the GT350 knuckles won’t fit , does anyone knows were I can buy the brackets for the GT350R calipers upgrade on a 2018 base gt ? Thanks in advance.
Why don't you just change the control arms and tie rod ends to use the Knuckles, you are already half way there.

Is kr3v-3k170-bb the part number for the 2020 GT350R knuckles? I have tried searching that number, but nothing is coming up.

Thanks.

That may be the engineering number. A Ford dealer can cross it to a part number. Just know that many of the numbers are not populated in the parts system for the 2020 changes.

I like to disassemble things.
I mentioned at about the 3:20 mark in the video in my initial post that the numbers cast on the knuckles are the engineering numbers. These differ from the Parts and Service numbers as Tim alluded to in post #63. The part numbers for the 2020 GT350R knuckles are:

KR3Z 3K185 D
KR3Z 3K186 D

My parts guru, Bryan, deserves all the credit. Best guy out there.

little resurrection, do you happen to know if the 15-19 and 20 calipers are the same? I'm assuming they are with just the knuckle being revised.

Might attempt to grab a set of 350R brakes and buy those 2020R knuckles to fit some 19"s on the 500.

Alex, yes same, 2015+ 350 rotor and caliper swap with 2020R knuckle would be a bolt on. Control arms would directly transfer over.
I’d be attempting to put it on a 500 to fit 19” wheels, since people said the 20 knuckles use same arms at the 500. Means I could get 20R knuckles and any 350 R caliper.

Sooooo I need help guys:

intro
- 2020 mustang ecoboost dedicated race car
- I want to upgrade to GT350 style front knuckles
- Parts need to be available, the more common the better (race cars break stuff)
- I have pretty much the Entire SPL suspension arms catalog installed.

Knowing that…
- SPL said I could just change the ends on the control, tension and toe link to fit the 2018 style spindle (these things are expensive, would prefer not to change everything)
- they’re not sure their ends for 2018 GT350 would fit the 2020 GT350r. (Probably not from what I read here)
- I have the 14” race brake kit from wilwood and they list it as fitting the 2020 GT350r also but not the 2018 GT350. I find that REALLY odd. I call and the wilwood guy says it fits but i’m not sure he knew what hes talking about. Caliper hole spacing is 180mm. Only one braket comes with the kit and its the one to change the caliper mounting position by 90deg. Could the calipera fit directly on the spindles?!? Like holes align perfectly and right diameter? I doubt it.

the kit:
https://www.wilwood.com/BrakeKits/B...rake Kit (Race)&fitment=FD22&itemno=140-14482

compatibility list
https://www.wilwood.com/BrakeKits/B...=2020&make=Ford&model=Mustang&option=EcoBoost

my options:
- i risk buying the 2020 GT350R spindle but I doubt my brake kit will acutally fit. And who knows for the SPL arms.
- I buy the 2018 GT350 knuckles (weirdly $200 more each) but I have to buy another brake kit (not cool) and I know SPL parts will fit. Again more common part= better for race car.

Chuck,

Look up an application for the GT350, they do not have a kit for it, they will be happy to make a bracket. You would not likely maintain any of the kit as it relates to offsets for the rotor etc.
