we know they'll be there through, at least, Friday for the Track Tour. assuming most / all of the same cars will be being used for the TT.

From what I understand there is no blanket media embargo. As soon as the guys finish driving they will be allowed to post their opinions and impressions.

Which explains why it's been quiet outside of a couple pictures.

you just gotta be willing to walk / mountain bike in....mtb is a great way to get around there...that's part of the reason that the country's biggest bike festival happens at LS every year (the Sea Otter classic).

How do you bike in? I have a flight on Saturday but was thinking of changing it to Friday and renting a car to go over to LS. If I could figure out a way to get in, I'd do it.

Oh and if you look at the calendar, it shows private event for Tuesday through Saturday. Maybe they'll still be there then?

I'm pretty sure for an official Ford event they won't allow anybody not invited through the gate. It's not like this is Joe Trackday's HPDE or anything.

You may not be able to get into the paddock, but the track is in the middle of a park, and the perimeter roads are all part of the park system. I know of one gate for the campgrounds, where you would typically self-pay for your camp, but I doubt they'd actually turn people away at that gate.

So, there may be quite a few spots where you can see the track even though you can't get right up to the cars.

Also, my buddy was at Laguna for a track day today, and he called to tell me that there were something like 50 GT350's there. So it sounds like the cars are there, waiting for the event. Looking forward to seeing some photos from people, and first impressions.
