This is good to know. Thanks. I was planning to go with the GT350 manifold. But I am rarely at 7000 rpm. My car is a DD.
Thank you would probably not feel any change or even worse lose some of that lovely low-end torque the Coyote has. You'd be better of with headers and a tune as you'd feel great gains! :)

I'd advice the same, I struggle to see how the throttle body gives any advantage, all I can see it doing is making the throttle more laggy due to air speed being slower.

When I fitted GT3 throttlebody to my 911, I could hardly tell the difference in power or throttle. On the dyno it made 2WHP, yes 2WHP.

I'd love a company like JDM, Lund to actually do a few dyno's to show the different setups because so far the 350 throttlebody just seems to cause more negatives than positives.
We used the adapter in testing already and found the stock throttle body to lose power compared to cars that had a GT350 throttle body already installed. We put it along with the stock TB on two cars that had the manifold installed already and they both dropped power, about 5-7 HP average. We would rather use the throttle body for the additional power change and it's not a problem for us to tune! No Negatives there:thumbsup:

Yeah I wish other tuners would figure this out... :)

Have you done any work with flexfuel tunes?

Great to know the numbers Jim, based on your findings and the fact you guys have no issues with the 350 TB, people should go with the 350 TB and of course your tune because it works well, VERY WELL. :)

Have you tried that TB on a boss intake yet?

I started in 3 phases... 2015 Mustang GT PP

1st phase... Flowmaster outlaw catback exhaust, ford racing resonator delete x pipe. the drone sucked but it sounded awesome...performance was meh.

2nd phase... Eibach sportline springs, JLT CAI, stainless works catless longtubes headers, and a custom dyno tune. performance was incredible. LOUD and AWESOME!

3rd phase so far... GT350 intake and throttle body, 60# flow matched injectors, and custom tuned for 93 octane and e85... Drone is gone btw. Performance is INSANE!!!! it feels like I added a power adder... aka blown or boosted! LOL it pulls straight through to 8000 rpm no problem! It pulls and pulls!!!! I have caught myself shifting early out of reflex after realizing I still have another1200 rpm to go!!! It is awesome. More than enough power for now until I get used to it! lol I'm happy!

Have longtubes?
no

What is your injector duty cycle?
i don't know at this time but it isn't leaning out. could it be over 85%? sure, it could be 99% for all I know but I am just saying that I haven't lost control of fueling at this point..... I am still waiting on HPT to fix the pulse width PID so I can log it and duty cycle. I thought I would have it by now, I have a "ticket" open, usually the fixes and updates come pretty quick. I guess this is a hard one.:)

I always liked being able to log duty cycle on my Subaru...that and pump duty cycle are good numbers to know!

Any tips on the install of the manifold?

Do you have a graph of your dyno tune? Mine showed power dropping off at or after 7500 rpm.

+100 here. If you add long tubes down the road I would bet the 87 vs 80 mm throttle body advantage will be even greater. JDM has this combo dialed in.
