I meant that it looked factory. Besides the longtubes it had nothing else.

It was a cam and full exhaust. Stock intake and TB.
Lol ok

I'm assuming you don't believe that either, such is life. I sold it anyway.

I'm a nerd for stuff looking clean and stock when I pop the hood lol.

My vette went 10.80s and it was completely factory under the hood. Stock intake and all lol
Yep, if you didn't go with a FAST or Edelbrock intake manifold (and/or any kind of CAI), you could do cam/headers/exhaust/tune (optionally heads), and get into 450-475rwhp and look totally stock under the hood - of course, you probably wouldn't _sound_ stock depending on the cam selection (and exhaust details) :D

I had a custom OEM Ti exhaust on my Z06, guy that did Ti welding, basically added a small pipe that bypassed the muffler, sounded wicked with LTs (thought a touch "tinny").

Factory dual mode mufflers are amazing. Very, very quiet when closed. Ear bleeding when open.

I miss those the most. Trying to find a solution for the S550 without paying Roush the absurd $2500.

I have a 2016 GT350 and what he's doing by installing the GT350 intake onto a 5.0 does look stock except for the CAI. Shelbys don't have a engine cover. As far as the times your vett went 10.80s. With just cams and headers. No I'm sorry.

Under 3200lbs and 490-ish whp. What's so impossible?

That's me, and my car.

Yeah, the most cost effective option is probably just electric cutouts on the stock system (or on a super quiet "touring" type catback).

I'm probably going to wind up with the Solo Pro MX, need a little more sound, but I want to error to the quieter/touring side (especially with a convertible).

I'm stoked about this thread though, I'd love to see some 475-500rwhp NA builds that are still very streetable (I had a '94 Vette with a Comp Cam 306, hahahah, it was too much).

I can't wait to see what this intake will do. Much better option for me than the Boss.

Thanks for all your effort sandeale. Looking forward for your results!

Seem like you are using a steeda cold air. Where did you find the throttle to steeda cold air elbow and reducer?

What is your plan for your mustang? No interest in the boss or cobra jet intake? Looking for more low end?

Eventual VMP. But I will play around NA for a while. Not interested in as fast or powerful as possible for the time being.

I tired and hoped that the cobra jet intake and mono blade would fit my 16 shelby GT350 but it hits the hood. So I'm interested to see what gains this shelby intake does on the 5.0. It would be interesting to see the voodoo intake vs the cobra jet intake on the same engine.

The elbow is the one that came with the steeda intake the only required change was the purchase of a straight 4 inch coupler to connect to the now much larger tb, i grabbed a vibrant silicone piece from my local pepboys, all of 14 bucks
