Somebody will grab it quick. Four owners or not, if thatā€™s accurate, that price is low. They evidently donā€™t follow the market. Be a great purchase for some one.

Besides for the 4 owners in 3 years?!?

wtf is wrong with itā€¦

(insert ex-wife joke here) šŸ˜‚
I bought my 350 from a guy who had purchased it 5 months previously, never registered it, had it ceramic coated, and sold it to me with less than 500 miles on it for less than he paid for it. He then bought another, did the same thing, and sold it to buy a GT500. He sold that car in less than a year. My point is, people go through cars like some of us go through plastic cups.

Youā€™d think. Did you ever actually buy a car or still out kicking tires. Itā€™s been a while since you posted a thread about a possible purchase.

CarMax knows more about the market than the armchair "market experts"

One would sure think so. Maybe the market is adjusting faster than we realize, who knows.

But this makes me want to call and see if theyā€™ll take my AMX over the phone. Hell, I did it once on a Benz a few years back.ā€¦

Just looking at the dates sold, Iā€™m guessing the first two sellers (ex dealer) got good $$ each time that car was sold given the 1st owner sold in 2021, and the second owner sold in early 2022 when prices were through the roof. Looks like they drove for a year, had some fun then probably made a few bucks. Price seems a little low but CarMax also does not negotiate (at least in my past experience, havenā€™t dealt with them in a few years though). If youā€™re outside a certain mile range from that store location, you have to pay a transfer fee to your nearest store location but the transfer fees usually arenā€™t too bad, probably comparable to independent car transport companies if not a little cheaper

I think I answered my own question. Likely the modifications that are evident in the engine bay picture is a reason for the attractive price?

Interesting styling choice. Wouldnā€™t be difficult to put back to oem.

One of the owners got Carroll to come back from the dead and sign inside that engine bay. Thatā€™s gotta be worth a few bucks more.

If itā€™s still there in a couple weeks itā€™s probably safe to assume either it has a problem we donā€™t know about or as I said earlier the market is finally normalizing.
