Got my OEM upper and lower GT grilles in the mail yesterday, going to install tomorrow. I have a dremel ready to do a lethal style grille delete but I was wondering, if I wanted to install them unmodified, could I? I've only seen anyone doing the deletes on the ecoboost so if anyone can chime in I'd appreciate it.

The unmodified GT grille will work with no problems. However, the clips holding in the grilles are a pain.

How hard is it to get your bumper lined back up correctly after taking it off? This upgrade is so cheap it is very tempting, but I'm worried that my body panels will have bad gaps or misalignments when I put the bumper back on.

Just decide before you want the delete or not before you put it in.... it will fit. Trust me, you want to put that thing in once and never do it again... the clips are the devil's butthole.

I just did mine today - ended up using a router to open out the upper GT grill so it allows similar air in as ecoboost grill.

I too struggled with the clips - recommend you put bumper on carpet or huge blanket and get a monster flathead screwdriver on it.

Be really careful if you're swapping pony badge - best I found was rotating metal clips with long nose pliers.
AgentAlex - have your lights been to Poland for DRL mod? Mine are just on route back :)

GT PP front splitter and lowering springs would do wonders on that ingot! Cheers mate.

I've taken my bumper off a few times, and it lines back up nicely, there are alignment pins at the top to center the bumper. On the sides where the headlamps meat the bumper and fender are clips that only snap in one way. I do recommend and angle bit driver adapter though. I use a dewalt right angle adapter, helps a lot at getting that 7mm bolt out that hold that bumper clip in behind the fender. It also makes it easy to remove the bolts on the bottom of the bumper with out lifting the front end.
