GT 350 engine/exhaust rattle on warm start

Just about 25,000. Had the car since 2016 with 2.6 miles on it. Still doesn't burn a drop of oil and it gets driven pretty damn hard.

ok gotcha our cars are pretty similar then in mileage and usage.

This is still an issue for me but the blip before turning off solves it. No shop I take it to has any idea what the issue is.

Took my car in for the backup camera recall and told them about this problem. They couldn’t figure it out but they said a ford engineer would be coming down to diagnose. Hopefully can figure out what this is once and for all.

Can you give an update on this? I took my car in for a new AC compressor and had them take a look at the rattle. Curious what your fix ended up being.

Sorry I don’t visit here often anymore but they told me that they replaced the chains and tensioners. That seemed to have fixed it for me. Did you have them look at yours? Did they fix it?

No worries, me neither. Just came back from the notification haha.

And that's good to hear. I still haven't taken mine in to get that checked yet. I've just been doing the throttle blip on shutdown and it's been fine. Honestly forgot about the rattle because I haven't heard it in so long.

I only have 2 months left on my warranty so I thanks for the reminder! Time to make an appointment before that shit runs out!
