Hey all,

New here and new to Mustangs but that is besides the point. I am here to ask a question about the collision detect system/box in the ecoboost mustang and the installation of a grille delete.

I recently purchased the Lethal grille delete and installed it (kept the active shutters). When I start driving I get a message stating that the collision detect box is blocked, unless I am wrong the box is on the drivers side right behind the lower grille. Before it was behind the flat plastic (solid part) on new grill it is in the middle of the grille pillar on the right side, it is visible but not completely blocked. I figured it would work but I think the V shape of the plastic pillar is causing the problem?

Before I attempt some sort of relocation I was curious if anyone else was in the same boat. I did a lot of google searches and I have come up empty. Since the grille is very similar to the GT maybe their sensor is in a different place?

Thanks guys.

I think your issue is specific to your location.... I don't think the US cars have that system......

I think the Gt's with collision warning and adaptive cruise have the same lower grill as Eco's with those options. Just the upper is different.

Gst95dsm, I guess I should have mentioned that I am military overseas. This is a USDM car. Sorry about that.

Apwrx, If that is the case I guess I will have to figure out if I can relocate it a bit to let it peek out of the grille. I will take some pictures today to make it easier to understand too.

Thanks
