Why the guy says "B8" and not "V8" ?
Its different in Spanish. Depending on your geographic area, there are letters that sound the same and V and B are 2 of them. So he could be saying B8 (in 'english"), but everyone who talks Spanish will understand him.

I heard him say V8 and also GT a couple times, but my Spanish isn't very good anymore so I would only understand about 1 word in 5. I did however, completely understand his disappointment with the hard (duro) plastics on the transmission tunnel. The little shake of the head after tapping on it was priceless. There are plenty of areas where hard plastics are OK, but it would have been nice to see a bit more effort on that large surface.

This was a great video, and seemed more in depth than anything I've seen from the US coverage. I really enjoyed it.

Thanks for posting.

While he was disappointed w/ the hard plastic trans tunnel, he kept saying that those cars were in Pre-Production form and things could change by the time the cars arrive at dealers. That that was one of the purposes of revealing the car so far in advance. To gather and collect the largest possible feedback before sale time in late Autumn.

Though he seems very passionate about cars, it seems he wasn't -I think most European aren't- a purist Mustang connoisseur or at least not at the level we are. And that is to be expected.

First he introduced the Mustang as a 2014 model (they corrected it by a quick caption). He also kept saying "remember this is the GT, the V8 version" when describing what type of car GT is. He also mentioned GT/V8 when talking about the new simple but good looking badge on the rear panel, the dual exhaust and the more pronounced bolstered seats. For us that's given almost born fact lol. The GT and every model above it, has a V8 w/ better amenities. But since 2011, the V6 and now the EB-4 also have dual exhaust too.

At the end, they ran couple of Bloopers and one of them was:

"HIM: ....and Ford is very proud about it. Just look at this badge on the dash that says "Mustang since '54"...
CameraMan: CUT!...
HIM: Please tell me it says '54 in the badge...
CameraMan: Nope, '64...
HIM: Shhhhht, G.damn it"

In Spanish of course. lol

The vid was awesome anyways! :ford:

This is the first time I've actually seen how the lines of this new S550 flow. I'm glad he accentuated the curves with his hand. Gave me a much better feel for how this bad boy is going to look in person. I would have never thought those lines were there seeing the other pics posted.

The outtakes at the end were a nice touch.

Carbon Fiber Transmission Tunnel Interior Cover

Wonder if it's possible to replace the hard (duro) plastic on the transmission tunnel with carbon fiber on the transmission tunnel instead, either on the GT350 version as a standard feature or perhaps a mod from the Ford Racing website all 2015 Mustangs can have?

NOTE TO FORD............This interior really needs to be good.......no, SUPERB quality. ALL of it. I'll cut you some slack as these are very early builds, but if you need to up the quality before production builds start, then please do so. I do not want ANY reason for people to knock S550.

Thank you

^^ This.

If the central piece in the interior, the piece that I end up coming in contact with the most, ends up being a cheap/hollow feeling lump of plastic, I'm going to be sad.

Not trying to be a smart ass or anything but I've never driven a car with anything but a hard plastic central console area (most of my cars have been Mustangs). Anyone have a comparable to explain what type of feel you guys are expecting. I'm assuming they will be luxury cars?

It doesn't have to be a luxury car. It's quite easy to have a centre console thats made from soft touch plastic, or covered in a soft touch vinyl or leather/leatherette.

A better question is do any Ford vehicles use those materials? The hard plastic In that particular area seems pretty standard. But I agree that a soft touch is nice especially on the door panels.

Leave it to an Italian to be So Passionate about the Design of this Mustang. As for his Hands On Approach, this car Begs for You to Run Your Hands and Fingers Along It's Surfaces. It's a Seriously Sexy Beast and a Car that You'll Want to Wash By Hand.
I can see they vanity plates now:
