Needless to say I'm not pleased.

If this was my DD I'd be furious, considering they don't yet have a fix.

Love the car. Not throwing shade on the car, throwing it at Ford. I get that it happens...but it shouldn't.

Furious about an issue with no known incidents? Can people just get a grip on statistics and risk (which is low)?

wait...what?

Regardless of statistics, the manufacturer sent a note that the car has a recall notice because it can potentially catch fire. Ummm...what?

And that they don't have a fix. Ummm...what?

Not sure about you...but that's not my idea of being happy with a car I paid a lot of good money for.

Besides, I'm pretty chill. What I said was that I'd be furious if it was my DD. It's not.

They have a fix, its just not ready, and so far no news of any GT350 spontaneously catching fire due to this exact issue

This is far more benign than the millions (YES MILLIONS) of cars that have been driving around for years with airbags that can put a bit piece of shrapnel into your face.

Ok. Fair enough.

Still not ok. But I get your point.

It's my DD and I'm not bothered by the notice in the least. Like said above, if there was any significant risk, if there were any incidents, we would be hearing screaming coming out of our computers from this forum. Look at how people here get frantic over much lesser issues.
The letter is mostly Ford's responsibility on the legal front to cover their ass as best they can under the circumstances.

Meh, everyone has recalls. I got my letter Monday, and assuming parts are ready at the end of 1st qtr 2017 its going to be early spring. Not terrible. People are acting like its the end of the world.

I got my recall letter this week as well and IT IS MY DAILY DRIVER but not worried a single moment. If it breaks they will need to fix it.

I got mine yesterday, I am not too worried. I am driving mine until I get the notice of a fix and take it in then. I still have to take my bike in for a brake master cylinder recall which is a little more serious, probably should take that in soon...
