Hey everyone,
Wanted to say and introduce myself. I just got my Kona Blue LE #146 (manual) today. I'm super excited although I have never actually seen the car in person.
So I've been a mustang fan pretty much since I was old enough to drive and have had a 67, 73, 80, 84, 89, 98, 2006 and now I have me 2015 LE and the 84 GT that I have been restoring.
I contacted my dealership last summer and told them if they got an LE I wanted one and to let me know. I had just bought a new Fusion for my wife early in the year. So in Sept I went to the middle East (Navy) and the dealer emailed me and told me they had a Kona Blue LE in and they were asking $72,000.
There was no way I was paying that kind of money even if I could afford it and I told them such but they didn't want to come down so I basically just figured it wasn't going to work out with the crazy surcharges dealers in my area were asking. Then earlier this month they emailed me again asking if I was still interested and I now they were willing to let it go for near MSRP so I did all the paperwork and had my wife sign for it and pick it up. So 7 months from now I will get to actually see it in person!
