Latham Ford in NY has a GT500 that had a 30k markup and now down to 15k. MSRP is 80k. White with blue stripes. Think they have had it for a while so you might be able to make a deal.

30k markup on a base? 😑 even 15K is too much. I just got word on a 22 track pack with painted stripes, carbonized Gray, $10k ADM.. set to be built in March.

message me if anybody's interested.

I agree. I would say 3-5k over at best but being we are in a small area, where there aren't many, I'm guessing they will sit on it forever. I'll take it for msrp. Not even going to waste my time calling them.

What is a good way to try and see what the markup is on these cars or to try and negotiate down?

I get some pretty bad anxiety talking to people online and on the phone so I end up rushing off of the phone and am kind of afraid, for lack of a better term, for asking what I want so I'm a bit concerned to go into this kind of process. Does anyone have any advice?

The best way I have found was to look on one of the new car search engines. Find cars that have been sitting a bit, then call. You're going to likely pay adm. How much is up to you, I would say minimum is 5k at this point. Most are at 10.. cftp 20+. I hate adm but I broke down and am paying it for a 500. I just hope that it retains value to where I don't lose money down the road. It I were to ever sell it.

I searched from the Ford site and then used the link to the dealers site. Most list the adm there. First I narrowed down what I wanted and then called the 5 or 6 dealers that had the car I wanted. One of the them, of course the furthest away, was willing to make a reasonable deal.

Seems like 10k ADM on a “base” is too much? Hold out for 5k maybe?

“2022 GT500, Carbonized Gray, Recaro Seats, Vinyl over the top Stipe, Tech Pack. 84k MSRP, selling for 94k.”

I see most used ones going for that or more.

Do you know how much ADM ?
I can ask on Wednesday for you. I was going to drop my car there for service and then pop into the dealership and have a look at it. The salesman I was talking to told me about it.
