Dealers will be receiving information this week on the 2020 Shelby GT500. Around 5000 unit annual production and a guarantee of at least one GT500 per dealer. Additional allocation information will be shared at a later date.

Added the official 2020 Shelby Dealer Enrollment Program info communicated to dealers. Shelby Enrollment.JPEG

My dealer received information about a week ago, including his allocation. He did not receive pricing info or the ability to order. Is this the information you are referencing (pricing and ordering)?

If it’s more than one car they’re speculating based on previous GT350 allocation. 2019 GT350 allocation isn’t a good indicator as there is only going to be around 2800 when it’s all said and done.

Pricing is supposed to be announced before order banks open in May.

It is indeed 1 car he is initially receiving. At the time, he said his rep mentioned that orders would open in 2 weeks. That was a little over a week ago.

I will add that it costs the dealer $2000 to enter the program to sell the GT350 and GT500 for 2020.

You are correct. That's exactly what my dealer told me. He's also only receiving 1 GT350 initially.

Oh...and he gets a poster which he so graciously told me I could have. lol

Thanks for posting the attached information.:like:

It will be interesting to see how many of the ~3100 dealerships in the U.S. decide to belly up $1000 for each of the GT350/GT500 programs?

Of course in Canada the only way that a Ford dealership is able to receive an allocation for a GT350/GT500 is to be an SVT dealership of which there are ~35 SVT dealerships in the Great White North.

Like many of you I remember the launch of the 2015/2016 GT350/R's back in the summer of 2015 and it was something else and would suggest that the launch of the upcoming GT500 this coming Fall may take all the craziness from the summer of 2015 to another level.

not arguing, bu how reliable is that? and what sort of information? I have a $ down and a msrp+ deal signed for 1st allocation. I trust the guy, but also realize some dealers may not get them so want to be able to move to another if he falls through.

btw, im local if you want to hook a brother up too ;)

Where have you been? At this point, it's not likely (unless you want to pay a huge ADM).

Obviously he does not hang out with an enthusiastic Mustang crowd like most of us!

At this point your best bet is to call/email smaller city dealers to see if they have an allotment and if they will sell at MSRP. You might get lucky in the Midwest
