So the car has been at the dealer since Monday. Only 4 days but still no word from anyone. I'm going to get the BBB involved as well. I'm probably going to get a 2015/2016 F150 if they buy it back. Nothing else really pleases me. Maybe I can get some satisfaction, who knows. If I'm stuck with this car I'm gonna be pissed. Even if I get it back and they say it's fixed I just don't think I'll trust it or be happy with it anymore. I'll be selling my MagnaFlows and Steeda CAI asap I get it back. I'm probably just going to trade it and lose my ass just to get rid of it. IF they don't buy it back. FML.

That sucks man that you got a shitty built car. I hope they either buyback or give you a new mustang without adding any costs.

I sure hope they do too! I'd settle for them letting me get another vehicle (not a Stang) at MSRP vs MSRP. I want a new F150

I still do not understand how a company as large as ford would allow this obvious build quality issue to continue. Do what is right by the customer, period. Customer service seems to be failing these days though. I know this, a post such as this will in no way help ford one bit. I really hope ford steps up for you and resolves this issue to your satisfaction. Good Luck

thats the problem with a company as large as ford. theyre making somany vehicles every day on a mass scale that even with strict quality control theres bound to be a few screw ups that make it past inspection.

I really feel for you guys with these QC issues, My car is absolutely flawless. and so have those of the other Service members who have bought through MAS that I have talked to.
Perhaps these cars go through a more rigorous QC process.

When you build near 20 K cars a month there are bound to be some screw ups and ford should definitely acknowledge them and buy back this car. I think Overall most owners are happy with their 'Stangs and you were unlucky enough to draw the short straw. Don't give up on the stang yet. get them to exchange you for a new one and the chances are extremely small that you will get another problem car.

exactly. out of 20,000 theres going to be some cars that arent up to par. Does that make it okay? of course not but it will happen and it sucks that you have to fight with ford to get them to make it right but thats how big companies are, they are only in it to make money no matter how much the marketing team tries to tell you they are your friend.

Yeah I agree mass produced anything will have a certain number of screwed up units. My concern is that new owners have to go through so much hassle to get to a point that they are happy. When there are obvious manufacturer defects said company should do whatever they need to to make it right. Bad dealer experience has turned away more than one customer from a specific brand, I have a few experiences myself. Unhappy customers, even a small percentage, can be the kiss of death for companies that depend on repeat business. I feel for the OP as I would be sick if I had a brand new Mustang and had these issues.

Your State will have Lemon Laws.... you need an attorney that is familiar with them...

Also, I would be talking to Regional Managers etc... Give 'em Hell, F the Dealership and what they say... it's above their level at this point IMHO...

Good Luck.

OP, where in East Tennessee are you? I am n Knoxville. I had transmission issues with a Nissan Pathfinder and they replaced trans after only 1700 miles . Still had issues and around and round we went. I asked for buy back and was denied. I had an attorney send Nissan a nasty gram and they finally bought it back. Stay vigilant, don't let it go past one year of ownership or Lemon Law is out in Tennessee. You may have to resort to hillbilly justice. Good luck.
