Been seeing quite a few posts lately about misfires - bumping this one

Last time I checked it was about mode $175 just to hook up the OBD-2 scanner!

What's intesting is that the stock program uses a global knock strategy, but the power packs use a per-cylinder knock strategy. I've noticed that after loading power pack 2 on it, I could see misfire counts for each cylinder, and see the spark changing for each individual cylinder. Pretty amazing stuff. I even saw a negative retard (Ford speak for advance) on one cylinder while the other was pulling several degrees for knock.

Bumping this thread only because I'm seeing a lot of recent threads regarding misfires w/no codes present. The info may help those understand the misfire strategies for M6G members who are new to the S550's.

Stock uses a seperate 2-4k, 4-7k, plus global if I'm not mistaken.
