Just got a passport max, seems okDoes anyone have good experience with a certain brand or model of radar detector? I will probably be getting one just prior to an S550

I've had a passport 9500i for several years. 2 things I like the most about it is it uses GPS to block false alarms and it displays your actual speed so as soon as it goes off you can look and see exactly how fast you are going and adjust accordingly. Also if there are more than one radar sources it will say "multiple signals detected". The passports and v1 are expensive but they are the best you can buy.

Bel Pro 500 here. I've had Bel's in the past and just bought the Pro 500 recently. One of the best detectors on the market with too many reasons to buy to list here.

Just The Basic Facts
We have 3 V1's, been using them since they originally came out.
They look very dated, but they get the job done. Love the Front, Side & Rear detection feature.

Yes I have kept them up-to-date. One of them had a failure and they replaced it with the current model, but like I said they look so dated but they perform so well and that's all that really matters.
