Yeah, I started to put that one, but it's just stories and doesn't show info by each #'d car... like the registry list did.

I want to start a registry with its own site url and forum also. My plan is to have public for anyone but private area where membership only requires ownership (no fees planned for now unless it gets expensive). But I have to teach myself to build website first and how to integrate it with vbb. Then we'll need mods to help keep up information discovered via threads into the permanent information website.

Anyway, work has gotten back to normal so maybe I can start working on that now.

The only issue I keep coming back to is paying for it. It'll be such a limited traffic site due to restricting ourself to 1962 cars. And figure only 10% of those owners will funnel in (I know there's a recent divorcee near me that has one and has absolutely no clue what it is). Sponsorship will be nice but again, limited due to the limited reach.

Let me start a new thread about that later to gather ideas.

If my ex-wife got my car there would soon be only 1961 left. Just saying.

That was the pros of me getting a manual. The wife can't drive one! Lol

I just got rid of the wife. Saves me a bunch of money and she can't drive now! Although she saw it first time she was mad at me over not letting her have my daughter one night (I already had plans with her) and my ex stepson told her "that new car sure looks nice". Her reply to him was "nice? It looks like a piece of s**t". Haahha!

Anyway, now I have my daughter, and honestly, if she wouldn't have left I never would have been able to afford this car. Nor he shop I'm building. I still haven't figured out where it was going.

Call that dealership. Maybe they can buy them back from insurance and resell. Minimum, fond out the insurance company and find out what buy back is and if you even could.

I contacted dealer and they said they are still waiting to hear back from insurance adjuster. That was another reason that the KB A6 was still on their website I believe...

Keep in mind that once bought back, they will be salvage title cars. Which would be a pain to prove rebuilt correctly and will always devalue them. LA, you have to show alot of proof when it's rebuilt to prove nothing was stolen. Can be a bit tedious.
