Yeah less than 7k miles and both oem cats were toasted on a 2019 whipple stage 1 supercharger with the whipple 50 state emissions legal tune.
2019 gt350 with Whipple Gen 5 and Whipple base tune. 8700 miles, doing a WOT and I see a brief puff of white in my rear view. I thought it was my mind playing tricks on me. Anyways next morning start my car up and walk around the back of car and I see like an insulation material around my tail pipes. Pulled exhaust off from stock manifolds back and driver side cat honeycomb was pushed back towards rear of chamber. Passenger side was fine. No melting of either cats, seems like driver's side insulation material that holds the honeycomb part in place failed and the insulation material is what blew out my tail pipes. I feel that stock cats will possibly fail with a SC depending on your driving habits. Just my opinion.
