Hello; A load of sensible comments and a sound take on the overall situation.
Toyota is ready for anything it seems. The rest are banking on BEV's. When the smoke clears in 2035 Toyota might be the only one left standing.A load of sensible comments and a sound take on the overall situation
Now now we know how the EV advocates are going to bash these sensible talking points. In their eyes Toyota just became the antichrist.Hello; A load of sensible comments and a sound take on the overall situation.
Hello; Yes. Likely will be much like the way Elon musk was turned on after he bought Twitter and confirmed the censorship, we all pretty much suspected. Now now we know how the EV advocates are going to bash these sensible talking points. In their eye Toyota just became the antichrist.![]()

Hello; 5% plastic recycle. They have had decades to come up with a plan for that. I reuse the plastic bags my groceries come in as small trash can liners. When too many pile up I can take them to McCays used books, CD's vinyl and more. They reuse them for merchandise. Eventually they wind up in the trash either way.Check this out this is gold
Back when Greg’s and I had civility I explained to him that recycling wasn’t really pushed. That it was just a cute thing people talked about. He wasn’t happy with that. All of this garbage about the world becoming inhabitable in the next two generations is grandstanding at best. I’d worry more about Jesus coming back and those who aren’t ready to meet him.Hello; 5% plastic recycle. They have had decades to come up with a plan for that. The thin plastic bags could make insulation stuffed in attics or walls except for the fire hazard.
Hello; Some concepts/goals are very worthwhile. Recycling among them. I have told this story before of working on a Coca Cola delivery truck. It was a time when the first one way soda cans were just being introduced. The truck had eight or ten bins with accordion type doors. Only one bin was for the new aluminum cans. Depending on the days route we sometimes had one empty bin to hold the empty glass bottles which were hauled back to be cleaned and reused on an average of something like 24 times.Back when Greg’s and I had civility I explained to him that recycling wasn’t really pushed. I think glass is an excellent way to transfer liquids. It’s been shown that plastics have been the culprit in reducing testosterone levels in men. Glass bottles though are excellent still widely used in Latin American countries. I also like aluminum cans also another great material for recycling because it actually has worth. Plastic is a worthless material. Why there’s no money in recycling it. Why there’s such low % of recycling.Hello; Some concepts/goals are very worthwhile. Recycling among them. The returnable bottles have gone away replaced with one way containers of all sorts. A the guy who had to sort the coke bottles from all the rest back then it would have seemed a good deal. For the company the trucks could be loaded full and come back empty.
Guys like my grandfather whose job was to run the bottle cleaning and refilling machine were out of work as were two or three men who had been unloading the empties every night.
Now the sodas are usually in plastic. I will not go into it but i grew up with paper grocery bags also.
