the combined population of both Wyoming and Montana is like 1.5M. There are more people than that within a 30 mile radius of my house. So how big can the oil industry be? Wyoming said they were protecting jobs. The number one and two employers are the Universities and schools. I couldn’t find any oil jobs in Wyoming on the top ten list. Sounds like political positioning to me. The legislation failed immediately btw.
And of course all those fossil fuel jobs that are 'lost' are simply replaced by the alternative fuel jobs.

Banning ICE or EV's anywhere is silly politics. Let the people decide what is right for them.
I like the sentiment but this too is unrealistic. It may work in some circumstances but not in others. For instance what if I wants leaded gas. Not happening. What if I wanted energy wasting appliances? Not happening. What if I wanted a cellphone that didn't keep tabs on you? I think you get my point.

People get a choice only after a product has been made. If they buy it, then success, if they don't, failure. Based on Ford's EV's, Lightning & Mach-E I would have to say success.

That's based on my research. Most republicans and people living in the country will not buy EV's. I might once the technology/range/convenience increases. But The US will not just jump to 70/80% new EV purchases like Norway in the next decade. That is a fact. I doubt over 40% EV by 2030. That's why California includes PHEV in their after 2035 plans. ICE vehicles will still be sold for those who want them there. They will just come with small plug in batteries. The next 2-3 years will show big EV increases though.
What a mess when politics have an impact on car choice!

Not sure if you can have a 'fact' based on an opinion. What research exactly ?

No one said to bring back leaded gas.

WE fight for our rights and freedoms as a collective. The rights of our society.

Your rights are and should be, restricted to comply with the law. Your rights do NOT supersede the rights of others, they are merely equal within the law. In a democratic country / state / local area (which you live in) the majority decide the collective societal rules.

Incidentally 'going to war' and 'fighting' are not the only way of preserving your rights. You live in a democracy.

Nobody is forcing anybody to buy an EV anywhere. Global climate change is a threat (together with local pollution) that the majority in most countries now understand and accept we need to do something about. The rights of everybody are equal to yours and so you MUST respect other peoples rights. If those rights are to a clean and safe environment to live in, then you must accept that. It is no different to not killing people by shooting them or poisoning them.

Your rights DO NOT come at the expense of others and the overwhelming evidence is against you, as I pointed out originally. You will be saved from yourself!
Seriously a lot of words that said absolutely nothing. Me you I’d relax because none of us sitting here will see how it turns out. I’ll do what I want within the conscript of the laws in the books as they stand today. Oh I got my cats deleted and tuned out. Hope that doesn’t blow up your mind too much. 😂👊🏼

They do. It is called an elected government in a democracy that creates laws by which we live. It is a good thing and protects the rights of all of us.
We don’t live in a democracy we live in a constitutional republic. Now we know you aren’t very well educated and if the people feel that the government is taking way too much power, well at least here in America you have to deal with a contention of a lot people who will push back.

Oh that old chestnut. You DO live in a democracy. Your country is run in a democratic way.

First line is very clear - maybe it is you that is 'not very well educated'!

Maybe not, but the reason leaded petrol was removed in the US and UK was that it is dangerous to health. If it was not legislated out of use then it would still be on sale now, it was banned for the greater good of the people and their health. EXACTLY the same reason for the ICE ban.

Again America is a constitutional republic with elected representation. Ask any constitutional scholar. Stop thinking you’re smarter because you’re not. You’re writhing behind your computer typing away upset that people like me actually question your authorotah 🤣

Hey if 'The United States is a representative democracy' from your own US Citizenship and Immigration Service is too hard for you to understand, then it isn't me that you need to get upset with. :cwl:

The US works in a democratic way which is exactly what elected representation leads to.

again a lot of diatribe, get educated maybe go back to junior high social studies class. That will help you. From our embassy in Argentina

“Constitutional refers to the fact that government is based on a Constitution which is the supreme law of the land. “
Here you go now you can go and lick your wounds. 😂🥰

What diatribe? One line by your own USCIS! I'm not the one who needs to go back to school.

Hey, you need to get in touch with the USCIS and tell them they are wrong! :cwl:
