I cannot for the love of all that is holy, seem to remove this damn bulb. I bought replacement LEDS for all but my blinkers, and this is the only one I am unable to get, does anyone have a tip to remove it? I used the diode dynamics videos to replace them all, but the part for this he just kind of pulls the bulb out with no issues, and I have had way too many problems. I also some how got a bulb from them that would not fit in the vanity mirror bulb spots, but thankfully I accidentally ordered an extra set.

Small flat head screw driver like for glasses. Just wedge it under the bulb and pry.
I was using a little knife I had to try that, it's really difficult trying to work in such a small space lol. I guess I will just have to give it another go tomorrow morning when I get home and have some tools.

That's what I did carefully. Then used a mirror to see orientation of plug, turned new bulb right way and pushed it in. Nothing to it.

Just be super careful with the screwdriver. Maybe try using a Popsicle stick instead. If you break that bulb, you'll have a heck of a time getting in there to get the remnants out.

I actually tried a chopstick first because I didn't want to chance bridging the connection but it was too thick.

I had to get on the floor and basically lay under the glove box.

Yeah a chopstick would be too thick

If I recall right due to the layout of the pins, as long as you don't stick the screwdriver in the socket (ie just catch the spot on the bulb where it gets wide) there's no chance of shorting it.

Or just tape the switch down so power is cut and then no worry about shorting it.

That's a good idea with the tape. Of course one could always pull the fuse, but that would require looking to see which fuse it is, which was too much work for me. Either way I didn't blow a fuse like most people seem to have.

Also for glovebox, open the owners manual box, and push in the switch so the bulb is off. This gives a little extra room and allows your finger to push the bulb against the removal tool. I basically layed down in the pax side so could use both hands for this.
