Lemme upload this video of my Gibson real quick, one second OP.

EDIT: Phone wont let me upload over Cellular Network, i'll upload tonight.

There's slight drone at 4.5k+ RPMS, but below that its got a nice grumble, so Its a fair tradeoff to me. I wish it was a bit louder, may work on the exhaust some in a bit. My brother has the Roush on his 15, and his is quieter than mine.

Why is the drone issue a hit or miss. Some say the Gibson drone is terrible and not good for DD. Then there's some say little drone just from 55-65. I so confused now! I've starting looking at other exhaust but man these are expensive. Maybe I need to find some people with some exhaust to hear in person. But even that doesn't help me solve the drone issue. I want a 3" full system one day. I don't want to peace a 2.5" system together. Why are most axle backs only 2.5?

normally with car parts, you get what you pay for.

However, when we upgraded my girls stuff to a full SW system, I got the Gibson for zero dollhairs, so cant complain. Lemme upload that video.

i like my gibson with catless headers. shop did a custom 3inch connector pipe to make it a full 3inch header back.
I'm going to be visiting this option soon as well. Do you have pics by chance of the work?

I personally love my Gibson. It creates such a deep sound at low RPM and it's def loud enough for my taste at WOT. The car def produces drone between 2-2.5k, but it's really only an issue on the highway. You're generally not in that RPM range long enough during normal acceleration to be an issue. As far as neighborhood noise, I live in a luxury condo with an indoor parking garage and the start ups are loud. Once the high idle phase passes, I usually idle it out of the vicinity to avoid upsetting the neighbors, but there's only so much I can do.

Well I didn't go with either system. I have went with Borla s type and H pipe. There on the way. I will be doing a review on that setup since there's not to many that have this. That's for all the help everyone.

Totally agree. I have a Gibson as well and I love it.

I have the MBRP street on my car now. Selling this weekend. I need something louder. I need it louder at idle. I like the Roush + H pipe. There's no drone and loud when you want it. How raspy is this system. How loud are cold starts compare to the car being warm already?is the neighborhood going to hear the cold start more than my street. I like the Gibson but comes with the X pipe. These system seems deeper but there's drone. does it only drone between 60 to 65. Or does it drone in all gears around the 2k RPM range? Now in the future I'm going to put on cat-less headers. With the Roush only being 2.5 and the Gibson being 3". Which size is better for off road headers? I now in the end I have to make up my mind myself.
My neighbor has the Roush axlebacks. I have the Gibson setup with the X Pipe. The sound is pretty close, actually. The Gibson is just a touch more raspy, and has a little more drone. But it's hard to tell the difference. The Gibson is definitely louder.

The drone comes in around 2000-2500 RPM if you aren't into the throttle much. This means in sixth gear, with the 3.31 gears, it's around 65mph-75mph. Above 80, it goes away. Switch to fifth gear, and it goes away. Lower than 65 and no drone. If you've got 3.73s or are driving an automatic, it might be at a different speed.

It's mildly annoying at first, but stopped bothering me after a couple of days. It's really not that bad. And the Roush has a similar drone, as well, so you're not likely to avoid it.

The Gibson was cheaper, even with the X-Pipe, and didn't require cutting. It got my vote on that basis alone.
