Anyone out there have the gibson catback exhaust. If so how is the drone and how is the sound outside of the vehicle. I know the exhaust threads have been beaten into the ground. I just cant seem to find anything on the gibson system.

Thanks for uploading the video, very helpful for us considering what system to go with. It sounds great. Did you put it on yourself or have a shop do it? If a shopd id it do you mind sharing how much it cost?

Yes, it pop and growl when you on deceleration. Sounds nice and aggressive. My butt dyno is not so accurate, but Gibson claiming 10hp gain and 6 ft-lbs torque increase.

Sounds great. Any drone?
There is some drone (Note: nothing shakes or ratlles inside the cabin) around 2k rpm but nothing terrible. Me and my gf were be able to talk without raising our voices or scream.

Me and my friend installed. Warning: provided clamps by Gibson SUCK. They would not hold the exhaust pipes and tips looked crooked. After couple hours of adjusting we gave up and left as is and next day I took the car to exhaust shop to get it aligned properly. We end up welding that b1tch up:headbang: I still have stock clamps on other side of resonator but those are pretty solid clamps and didn't need to be replaced or any welding done. I end up paying $80 for adjustments and welding.

Here is some eye candy for you guys :ford:

Thanks for the info, I ended up holding off on an exhaust upgrade at the moment. Shooting for next spring/summer, I will definitely have the Gibson at the top of my list.

It sounds really good. I'm torn between this one and the hooker blackheart

I decided to go ahead with the cat back Gibson. I sprung for the black powder coated version since my flowmaster outlaws have already rusted inside and out after like 6 months and I need to keep these for a whil. I will get then in about a week so hopefully the clamps won't be too much of a pain and I can do it myself

How do you like it? Is there any drone? Could you make a video with a cabin noise portion as well as drive-by and acceleration?

Thanks
