So 12-13 Boss with track key gave it lopey idle and ghost cam tune for 11-14 maybe ok for the cats. But 15 whole different engine now there's something about on why they say NO cats.

I mean, the only way to do this is to have real cams. The ghost cam tune is cool and all at a car show but it's not beneficial at all so I'm not going to spend $1400 on a set of o/r headers just to run a free cam lope tune. When/if cams come out that's the route I'll take, I had '10 GT full Kooks Headers w/green cats and brenspeed cam setup. Zero issues passing emissions because real cams have real benefit and don't destroy your car.

Any time you create this kind of valve overlap with stock cats you are introducing raw, semi-burned fuel into the them. It will cause the cats to clog over time and less time than you would think. I recently removed the JBA high flow cats from my built/cammed '05 for this very reason.

Get rid of the cats with valve overlap and stock cats or you're asking for trouble.

Actually real cams on a coyote will never sound as good as the cam tune.

As far as making for cats. Lund has no plans to make one with cats at this time. It is for off road use only

I haven't had cats on a modified car since 2007. Passed CA smog like that too.

no different than adding exhaust for a desired sound!

the nice thing is the newer cars have the ability to get you the overlap you want, without sacrificing drivabilty

you can also control cams for fuel mileage, power, etc....

that's not ricey is it?

It does nothing for performance and pretends to be something that it isn't. How is that not rice? Might as well add a fake supercharger whine and fake blow off valve while you're at it.

To compare it to changing your exhaust is just dumb.
