Getting some cash around

Seems like with any mod.. You need a tune correct? Or can I update the resonater to H pipe with no turn?
My question is, should I start with a tuner then mods?
If I go with tuner first what should I look for in a company that I am getting it from? I have never tuned a car before. I am pretty good with technical stuff, not worried about that... Just don't want to get stuck with out of date tuner or something that I can't update.
Any help would be great. Money for mods is slim!

Yeah you can do an h-pipe or a catback without a tune. mods like headers, CAI, Manifold upgrade you do need a tune. I say go with the tuner first and update the tune when you buy some more mods. Lund, BAMA, and livernois seem to be popular. I went with Lund but Haven't tried the tune on my car So I can't say how it drives yet. I'm Sure others with more experience with tuning can weigh in.

I have already did the H-pipe to remove the resonator since that doesn't require a re-tune. Once I decide on which combo, will look to see if there is anything else I want to do before intake and re-tune. The one at american muscle states life time re-tunes

go ngauge/jlt from lethal or beefcake instead! ngauge just does soooo much more.

I just ordered a live wire, i dont want to be limited to lund tunes. Something to keep in mind, everyone will tell you to buy the ngauge, but i dont have any lund tuners i know of, and really dont want to run a canned tune for too long with my pro charger.

That is what I am hearing... nGauge. I think canned tunes are fine for the simple bolt on's. I wouldn't consider Anything FI a simple bolt on.
I might just start with nGauge and 93oct tune. Then add JLT in a couple months. When I'm ready to do that do I just email beef or whoever I get it from for the updated tune? Correct?
