Getting my first mustang in triple yellow

Is triple yellow just the name of the color?
triple anything to me always meant exterior color, interior color, and convertible top were all the same color. This doesn’t appear to be the case here.

It is a tri coat paint, think like candy paints, a silver or gold or white base, then the yellow "tint" coat then clear.

Can’t say I’ve seen many yellow trucks but that is gorgeous!

Great choices, two of my favorite colors as well.

2004 F150 in Blazing Yellow and
2023 Mach 1 in Grabber Blue.

That F150 looks so good
I think yellow is growing on me alot
I'm pretty keen on the yellow mustang now.
I'm sure it will be a beast

I’ve got Lightning Blue and a Kona but find Triple Yellow is most standout colour approaching me on the road.
See it miles away.

Magnetic and others similar blend in with all the Camrys.

great looking car OP. Yellow with yellow would be too much.

Yes black vehicles look nice especially when they have been washed and polished.
The mustang I'm interested in should be good with the yellow and black interior

3 different KINDS of paint.
Base (thicker)
Yellow (gloss)
Clear (topcoat)
Special painting process to create that 'pop'. Cost extra, my first s550 was an EB in Triple Yellow.

Did the triple yellow Start off in the 2015 models right through to 2018 then after that was the color change?

Correct, it was a 2015-2018 color

a bit heavy on the yellow. Maybe wrap some of those pieces in red or blue.
