Considering I only washed it by hand once, the paint looked like poo. It sat on 3 different dealer lots before I grabbed it. Much of the time outside.

I want to correct the orange peel on mine... the rear fenders are the worst. People out here want crazy money to do it though and I'm not an expert on wet sanding cars. I'm concerned with burning through the paint on some of the curves.

Make sure you post pics!! I'm considering doing it to get a nice clean reflection and get rid of that factory orange peel. It's actually worth it on darker cars like RR, DIB, LB and black of course

If you don't mind, could you PM me the price they are charging you? I need paint correction done as well and would also like to get the quartz treatment.

I think the crazy money is so they can afford to pay for a paint job for the few times they go thru the clear. They might know the factory spec for thickness but what if some places are thinner from the factory or previous correction like a dealer might do and not even tell a customer. A device that measures just the thickness of all the paint is cheap but the cost for one that measures just the clear is insane, plus would be too time consuming to check every inch of the car. So I think its a routine cost of business for paint correction businesses to have to repaint panels they mess up and even blend into adjacent at times.

NICE!! Going to look killer.
I got the same treatment on my '16 Ram Sport 4X4, regular cab which is my daily driver. Full paint correction and 2 coats of Cquartz Finest applied 2x on the exterior of the entire truck, including wheels. Looks killer and is easy to clean.
Don't forget to use RELOAD after washing the vehicle once in a while to help maintain the life of the Cquartz Finest.

I had mine done with ceramic pro and it is my favorite mod to date! Your paint is really going to pop in the sun, can't wait to see some pics!

Yeah, you could tell they really didn't want to do it so they made some ridiculous price. Told him I'd rather put the money towards a better paint job than correct a bad one.

I had my new Ruby Red 2 stage paint corrected and then coated with Modesta BC08. This is a car that I ordered and picked up the day it arrived at the dealer and two days later had the paint correction and Modesta coating put on. You are going to be amazed at the difference, especially in the sun. Great decision to have this done

Car looks great! but whats the difference between CQuartz and a full detail that includes clay/polish/glaze/wax/sealant/etc?
