Just discovered this:

https://performanceparts.ford.com/p...C53GAWfVwo765JMG3-6xtCgg0iAYh009gbJO-iGqnj7kM

I am wondering when these started getting punched out and did any 2020 GT350s get one?

I pasted the upgrades from the site below:
  • Upgraded version of previous Ford Performance M-6010-M52 and M-6010-M52A 5.2L Coyote Aluminum Cylinder Blocks
  • Features higher flow oil squirters to provide added piston cooling
  • Rod bolt path is clearance machined in crancase of block
  • Improved high-performance casting of the Coyote block with improvements to support higher horsepower engine builds
  • Utliizes Longer (187mm) 12 mm cylinder head bolts to provide greater clamping force (requires longer Head Bolt Kit - M-6067-M501280, or M-6067-M52B head changing kit)
  • Improved crankcase windage
  • 94.0 mm bore
  • Water jacket below cylinder bore has been updated to add more material for strength
  • The intake side of the bore at the deck surface includes a cast-in brace to improve strength of the cylinder wall and head gasket sealing
  • Block features plasma transferred wire arc spray weld liner coating
  • Liner coating provides improved durability and heat transfer, reduced friction, and a weight savings compared to previous 5.0L Mustang GT aluminum blocks
  • Cylinder liner coating does not require unique piston rings or piston material
  • Cylinder bores are finish-honed and ready to assemble
  • All block features are finish-machined including head deck and crank bore
  • Cross-bolted nodular iron main bearing caps
  • Uses 12 mm cylinder head bolts
  • Block has provisions for piston oil squirters
  • Includes plugs and dowels, and oil squirters

The 19 and 20 models share the GT500 Block. Not sure if this is the same block but sounds like it

19 and 20 model years should have these upgrades.

I don't see Ford spending the money to upgrade just the 20 model year since it's the last year the car will be made.

I know they share the same block as the GT500, hence why 2019+ came with the Gen 2 Voodoo, but apparently Ford kept tweaking? I'm not sure. That's what I'm trying to figure out. Here is the link for the no longer available Gen 2 block:

These are the differences between Gen-2 and Gen-3(additional features):

1. Features higher flow oil squirters to provide added piston cooling.
2. Rod bolt path is clearance machined in crancase of block.

All other listed features are the same in both blocks.

So this goes back to my original question, and not sure how to find out (doesn't really matter, I am just curious), but did any of the 2020 GT350s get this block, or will only the 2021 GT500s start getting it?

Only the 2020 GT350Rs got the new Gen 3 upgraded block and engine. Have read its producing more horsepower than Gen 2

Your 20 has the newest block used. Not sure what the Gen 3 is all about. Maybe aftermarket only. In the process of reaching out to clarify
Yeah, I think so... Iā€™ve not heard about that gen 3 until now, even when I have talked with few Ford engine builders. They never commented anything about 3rd gen, it always was about ā€œnew block engineā€.

I'm actually eager to see how GM goes about it with the Z06 5.5 FPC. They already had welds separating on the chassis which they already addressed by more dampeners.
