2020 Mustang GT, automatic.
Has anyone ever had a problem with the correct gear indicator being displayed on the screen? Twice in the last month, when I placed my shift lever into drive, the gear indicator on the screen briefly showed 10th gear, but then quickly changed to 1st. When it did this, the car did not do anything out of the ordinary. I'm wondering if this is a software glitch or the sensor is becoming faulty? Does anyone know where the sensor is and how long (mechanical hours) it will take the dealership to change the part?
