Gas Station filled me up with 87. Run a OTS Accessport Stage 1 Tune. What do I do?

I filled up 10.6 gallons today and the stupid attendant put in regular instead of ultra. I don't have any performance mods, but I do run an OTS Accessport Stage 1 93 Octane tune. Should I just go back to the stock tune for this tank of gas?

Just switch back to stage 0 on the AP if you have it installed.

Its easier to buy a bottle of lucas octane booster at pep boys it will give 4 points taking you to 91 octane!

I think 4 points mean 0.4 so making it 87.4

Correct. Octane booster is worth fuck all.

Just remove the tune. It takes less than five minutes. Don't drive it with the 87 octane in it and the 93 tune, as the timing is advanced, and you might get knock or detonation.

Also, I do not miss living in NJ.

Your best 2 options are to either completely uninstall the accessport and return the car to stock for this tank of fuel, or flash in the stage 0 tune on the accessport which simulates the stock tune but still take it easy on the car for this tank.

Unless the tune also affected your open-loop timing you'll be just fine. Keep it out of WOT and you won't even notice any knock. Stay off the boost, or revise your tune back to stock for the time being.

What happens if he adds 15 bottles of octane booster then?? LOL this will be as expensive as 15 gal of 93 at some regions. Didn't Ford Focus RS use shit ton of octane booster for its winter testing in somewhere in Europe cuz they only had low octane fuel?:ford:
