We did alot of testing on this car and trust me, the vehicle works better with these injectors, we do not just throw random parts out there without research and alot of time spent on the vehicle
Maybe I missed it.. Does your kit have new injectors?

Factory works just perfect for these vehicles, no need for upgraded injectors on this build, If we want to go a step further we can change them out and gain another 50hp with the throttle body change as well as the new fuel pump, but that is only needed to gain even more power. The car is very reliable at the power level we set it at with the factory injectors.

I believe my stage 2 whipple kit uses 72 lb injectors and stock fuel pump without a BAP...makes over 700 to the wheels on 93 octane.

The fuel pump l understand. The factory 34lb injectors on a blown application would make me nervous.

We would never want to build you something that would want to blow up. Not only would that upset our customer but it would also give us a bad name. We are a very well known company and would not build a ticking time bomb

Huh? 0-60 times there are a million different variables 1st especially in suspension.

Times vary greatly depending on chassis setup and suspension mods.

HP and engine mods are only half the story.
I get that. I was just wondering if anyone had gotten some 0-60's with SC's.

I don't intend to track. I was wondering how fast a SC Mustang was off the line. And yes I know wheels, rubber and suspension make a difference.

As well you could say the same about 1/4 mile times. However I don't see such reticence posting those

Not much of an answer for you but from my little experience being this is my 1st super charger it takes a lot more finesse to get good at 0-60 with a blower. I can tell after installing mine, my 0-60 times are better by some, but because of the extra power it just blows the tires loose way easier than non supercharger. I am getting better at it, and I know my times are better than before, probably somewhere around .5 second faster (hopefully 1 second). Too bad, I'm already missing the hot asphalt from summer. During the end of summer I was just getting good at taking off from a stop riding that edge of spinning, but man it's a fine line. My opinion is that the supercharger really starts to shine in anything about 40 mph-ish when the traction starts to get better, but then again I've had it break loose and spin even at 60+mph, (makes my butt pucker thinking about it).

1/4 mile times I see thrown around get a few-several seconds better than stock. I think stock the GT does 12.9 seconds. The mild build SC times seem to be anywhere from the low 10s to high 10s. Badass builds are in the 9s, ultra high dollar builds are in the 8s. (just a ballpark by me, hope I'm not too far off) All the times are on prepped strips with proper tires made for the strip. Being that you ask about 0-60 times, that correlates to having your fun on the street so it's not going to be the same as the street is not as good as a track and the tires are just not the same and not to often you get to do a burnout to get your tires nice and sticky. I'd bet my 1/4 mile time on the street would be in the high 11s if I'm lucky, probably in the 12s being as I drive with street tires and don't know how to launch with a burnout and all that stuff. It would be interesting to hear what a Stage 2 Procharger gets for 1/4 mile time on a relatively clean street with no burnout with street tires. Crap, did I just answer your question with a question, oops.

Hey Bartly!

I do appreciate your answer. If it was even 1/2 second faster 0-60 that would be pretty significant.

I know my stock GT breaks the rear wheels loose pretty easily.

Anyhow thanks again Bartly! So many decisions but it's nice having the options we do because of the wide open aftermarket the Mustang enjoys!

Cheers

Guys, there is a reason everyone has injectors and at minimum a BAP with their kits…

We did alot of testing on this car and trust me, the vehicle works better with these injectors, we do not just throw random parts out there without research and alot of time spent on the vehicle
The vehicle works better with factory injectors… WTF..:crazy:

I run a Roush blower on my 2015 and a Whipple on my 2003 Cobra. Honestly, I stayed on topic for you, Mustang Lou and the other members. I honestly thought it was a typo… That he forgot the injectors and BAP. I don’t consider myself a guru on cars. I have built a lot over the last 20 years with all types of power adders. One thing that is a constant with every build… You have to upgrade your fuel to make safe reliable horsepower.

When I asked about it, this is what they said…
We did alot of testing on this car and trust me, the vehicle works better with these injectors, we do not just throw random parts out there without research and alot of time spent on the vehicle
They call their kit without injectors a Stage 2W Package. It is also higher than Beefcakes package with ID1050x injectors.
https://www.livernoismotorsports.com/product/LPP0108529

Whipple’s Stage 1 Kit has bigger injectors. Without injectors it’s a tuner kit. Livernois is taking a tuner kit, adding a tune and calling it a complete kit. That is crap. That is the reason no one else offers a kit without injectors.

Yes i 100% get what you are saying and agree. However if people want to turn up that kit Livernois does offer a package that includes a BAP and injectors is all i was getting at.
