Fuel line connector help

does any one know how to remove this connector from the stock fuel line?

I figured if I just remove the metal clip that it would just pull off but it doesn’t...

do I need one of those expander tools or am I just not pulling hard enough? Haha

Looks like you need to insert one of those extractor tools from the bottom and then slide it up to disconnect the line.
