Welcome to the forums.

Can you provide more insight as to your existing setup, more detail as to the nature of your problem?

You have an aftermarket waste gate. Any other mods? Tune? Miles?

"losing quite bit power..." Can you define this better? Thanks.

My initial thought is you have to go to someone, hock-up and begin measuring what's going on. Without quantifiable data, you won't see the entire picture, won't know what needs to be replaced or adjusted (and by how much) to get back to peak performance.

Yes I have bama rev x tuner air raid cai j&l oil separator turbo smart dual port blow off valve turbo smart v2 wastegate and 20x9 autor ultra performance tires on Shelby razor wheels. Boost psi is all over the place power loss when deceleration then accelerate I have 2 codes po299 and po246 I think

I'll let the discussion continue as other members study your problem. In the mean time, is it possible you can post any logs? Have you engaged the Bama Performance folks as to what you're experiencing?

Thanks Again.

I haven't looked up the codes yet, but (boost) pressure is just another word for restriction. The greater the restriction, the higher the pressure. What other air related measurements does your tuning device monitor?

PO299 is for an underboost condition and PO246 is a code for the wastegate selenoid.

Good place to start!
If the wastegate opens on failure, then your turbocharger's turbine (drive) pressure can be reduced and as a result, you could have low boost pressure.

What size spring do you have in your wastegate?

Wow! 14 psi is a lot more than I was running with my stock Turbocharger, mine was 10psi.
I just read a post that stated that they set up their wastegate to open early, in order to allow the Turbocharger to spool up quicker and then to close the wastegate down, in order to build up more top end boost...?
Has anyone else set their wastegate up like that, and what results did you get??

Ecoboosts typically run 20-25psi. But, you can't change the wastegate or any other boost parameters mechanically on the engine without an accompanying tune. It isn't a standard speed/density system it uses torque tables to adjust boost and throttle position to achieve a desired outcome. Basically, don't change anything without the accompanying tune and don't just change things that other turbo guys change without researching ecoboost specific applications, these motors work different.

Thanks for the input I trying to make arrangements to get into modified by kc may26 is the plan this time of the year they pretty busy outside of driving all the way to Oklahoma all though I was tempted. My car is way overdue for dyno. There's only so much bama can do just via email tune revisions and some things can't be done through email or the cloud. This is one example granted I don't know or understand half what looking at except there was difference that I noticed just unable to pinpoint pulled out most of my hair in the process lol
