12v from fuse box is constant (permanent, always on, don't know the exact translation :) ). If you use that, your drl will be always on, even with car off :D

We use 12v constant for sequential to have them work with hazard lights. If you are not interested in sequential hazards, you can connect the red wire with the green, to the turning light signal wire.

What color wires did you use for splicing from stock parking and turning lights?

the same colors as the new wires added in headlights: green for turning and black for parking.

Why didn't you use clip connectors in order to disconnect easily the 4 new wires when removing the headlights?

i.e. http://www.walmart.com/ip/Car-Audio...s-4-Pin-Wire-Adapter-Connectors-2PCS/47605577
I used these, don't know how are called in english

so I can add\remove wires whenever I want.

Could you take a picture of the back of the fog light now?
I'm at work now :)

Excellent instructions my friend. They all confirm my plan of attack so I'm now 100% sure how mine is going to be done as well.

She went up the lift this morning to get the wheels off to get repainted so looking really rather sad now :D

I think plastic bag is not 100% protected. Think what is happening when we put the control box or extension connectors of xmas lights in a plastic bag outside at the garden...
The temperature differential can cause moisture easily inside the bag.
For more secure I believe all wire connections need sealing with silicone or with a electrical tape.

Great write up:) Again, will use that as manual:) if your swichbacks will not look/work as you expect, you have set i described free:)

Greetz:)

About cable splicing. Since next time for remove lamps expected is at crash, if there is no possibility to find sealed connectors, i prefer soldering and them thermosealing.

Thank you! I will keep this in mind

I was thinking to get waterproof connectors and a switch box, so I can enable or disable at will (again, annual inspection).. even if I bet that no one will say that it's different than stock - I haven't seen another mustang around here yet!
