As for wheather connectors, Delphi are popular:

http://www.ebay.com/itm/New-Delphi-Weather-Pack-2-Pin-Connector-Kit-16-14-GA-/231256672495

I ordered today 100 sets of 2 and 4 pins connectors, so future orders will include them for headlights.
I saw that and will order a similar set

papinist: what do you think? Will you disable the stock turn lights?
No! Even if the new seq turn are very cool, seems to me that with headlights on they are not so visible (no problem with no lights or only parking lights on), and also I want to use switchbacks for turning :D

Great! I hope ready with cables installed :clap2:

No:) you will have no fun from working with your car:)
No problem, i can install them, but it has sense if cables from connector will be soldered and thermo sealed.

I have to agree with that  I really enjoyed splicing, wiring, crimping and finding solution to complete this install :)

At least from the light's side all 4 cables may be ready as you said with the connector (female or male part)

If I understand correctly from now on you will send a pair of four pins for the headlights and a pair of two pins for the tailights? .

Papinist at the other thread with the tailights you had a photo with some resistors saying that will be used for the headlights.

Yes - caniggia sent me three pairs of resistors, to be used if I want to get rid of the stock lights. I planned to use only a pair for removing stock drl, but it's a test since he always said to use a switched 12v instead of getting signal from stock drl wire (due to some strange behaviour).
I tried too but as caniggia said, new drl shows some strange behaviour (not lighting up when powering the car, but going on after turning headlights on and off) so I get rid of that idea and took switched power from window wipers motor. So no need for resistors here.
The other two pairs I will not use them because I'm keeping the stock lights.

I was thinking to get waterproof connectors and a switch box, so I can enable or disable at will (again, annual inspection).. even if I bet that no one will say that it's different than stock - I haven't seen another mustang around here yet!
Now NOONE will tell the difference between US and EU tribars. Maybe not even some dealers :D

But the first annual inspection will take place in 4 years ! So I assume more Mustangs will be on the road and at least the inspection centers will know the difference.

What if you just simply disconnect the red 12V wire from the fuse box?

For taillights i'm already sending connectors, but not wheather.
I just had no wheather stock here for front, but since market needs that, i'll have:)

By the way, did you try to turn on/off the wipers? I hope there are no any unpleasant surprises :D

the red wire powers the sequential module, so yes, I can remove fuse to disable sequential turn. For drl you should disconnect brown and black wires.
But you are right, could be easier to only use a bipolar switch for those and simply remove fuse for sequential :)

Yes first inspection is in 4 years.. plenty of time to think about it, even if I can imagine that in 4 years, around here we will still have few mustangs.

I haven't tried (car is still in garage) but 1) I can't see how it could get any problem (too much power drain?), and 2) I am very confident that caniggia already tried that and had no issues :D
