Hello all,
Reaching out for some assistance on solving this issue on my car. Have been looking to try and find a definitive answer with no luck. So here is where things stand, changed to a 285/35 tire up front on LMR R355 wheels from the stock 255/40 and lowered on BMR performance springs. I had the alignment checked before switching to the current set up as I had noticed the same issue on the previous tires. At that time was running the stock PP wheels with a 25 mm spacer all around. Thought the problem was related to the spacers and when alignment came back in spec figured that was that. Started to notice more tire noise than usual and found the problem hadn't gone away. Most recent inspection didn't reveal any issues in the suspension or at least I wasn't told of any.
Has anyone with a similar set up had the same problem? Can lowering cause uneven tire wear while still within factory spec for alignment? The tires have a lot of life left yet so would like to sort this out before they have to get replaced and the same cycle happens again.
Any insight would be appreciated.
Thanks
