You don't have to buy the fender liners. I just used the belly pan as a template removed the liners then cut the areas where the brake ducts are. I then drilled a new inner hole to match the new belly pan and installed the plastic rivet to secure the wheel well liner.

That is true but a lot of people are under the impression that if you buy just the performance pack belly pan then you are good to go,and that is not true without modification just sayin

I did not realize that the CA Special splitter is differnt from the base GT.

So,just to confirm.....the CA Special splitter would fit on the Base without any modifications? It would be a direct bolt on?

Do you know the part nos. for the inner fender liners? (I have already bought the PP splitter and the belly pan, and they are ready to go onto my base GT.)
Thank you.

im curious about using the apr splitter. With a v6 could I get a pp gt splitter and an apr splitter for pp gt as well and have it fit without much trouble?

Should be fine. Only thing is that the splitter is going to be replacing the bellypan.

Doesn't the splitter block the brake cooling ducts the performance belly pan has? I guess what would be the reason for keeping the belly pan if the splitter sits flush on the pan blocking all the air channels for the belly pan?

I have a PP front valance in hand and am debating on just using the apr PP splitter as my belly pan without purchasing the PP belly pan. Does the splitter block oil filter access?

Yes, the splitter will block the brake cooling ducts.
I think the only reason for keeping the bellypan is to drill the holes through the bellypan and into the splitter.

What I'm planning on doing is to try and retrofit my base bellypan to fit with the PP front valance then drilling the holes.

Here's a video of the installation process just in case you need it.

The splitter also does not block access to the oil filter.

Got it, this helps. I couldn't see spending another $200 on the pp belly pan only to block its main advantage. The holes on the PP pan and nonPP pan should be the same just the features are different I would assume.

My plan is to buy the PP apr splitter, put on the pp front lip and use my current pan as the template for the holes. In the end I should be left with the apr splitter replacing the pan and the pp lip on the bumper...at least I hope it all works out like that!
